Four people, one focus

Spatial Focus develops custom geospatial software and data-driven applications. We are a small team combining strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of spatial data. Our work covers everything from software architecture and cloud infrastructure to user-friendly web applications, data processing workflows, satellite data, and map-based tools.

Many of our projects are built around environmental monitoring, agriculture, remote sensing, public administration, and specialised business processes. We help organisations turn complex geospatial information into reliable systems that support everyday work and real-world decisions. Because we are a team of four, we stay closely involved throughout each project. From the first idea to implementation, deployment, operation, and long-term maintenance. We value direct collaboration, practical solutions, and software that is technically solid, understandable, and built to last.

I am a passionate product manager / owner with over 10 years of professional work experience. I see my background in software development as the ideal basis for dealing with customers and development teams on a daily basis. Through my passion and commitment, I always focus on the product and customer satisfaction.

CEO & Co-Founder

I am a highly skilled Software Architect with more than 10 years of professional experience in software development, spatial data management, and data modeling. After acquiring a solid web development background, my focus has shifted into distributed cloud and microservice type applications as well as mobile apps in the .NET ecosystem.

Christopher Dresel

CTO & Co-founder

I'm a passionate Software Engineer / Architect with more than 15 years of professional work experience and a dedication to C#, .NET, and the Azure ecosystem. After starting my career in web development, I have gained further expertise in distributed systems and cloud services, mobile application development as well as system administration and DevOps. I have a good understanding of algorithms and data structures, know about the principles of solid software architecture and I'm familiar with agile software development.

I am a passionate software engineer with a particular interest in complex geospatial systems. My academic journey has deepened both my technical skills and my curiosity about software engineering, geospatial analysis, and innovative geoinformatics solutions. At Spatial Focus, I apply this expertise to real-world challenges through the projects and services we deliver. Beyond the keyboard, I am an avid sports enthusiast and lead an active lifestyle that keeps me energized and focused.
